Name it
Point, and it knows
Tulpi names 3,025 plants of Germany and the UK, from roadside weeds to the monstera on your shelf.
The model runs on your iPhone, so it works with no signal.
You get three candidates and one honest word: Sure, Probably or Maybe.
Which one is this?
Receipts
Below Sure, it shows its receipts
When the answer is below Sure, Tulpi takes a closer look and gives you three tells to check yourself: the leaf edge, the flower, the bark.
Lookalikes get named as doppelgängers.
Every plant on the poison list says so, every time.

The year in colour
Every plant keeps the colour of its season
Winter is periwinkle, spring is blossom, summer is apricot, autumn is rust.
Keep a plant and it lifts out of your photo onto a card.
By December your collection reads like a calendar, no labels needed.

Side quest
Twelve plants are in season near you right now. They stay silhouettes until you find them.

It learns
Correct it once. It remembers
Name a plant Tulpi got wrong and it learns that plant, on your phone.
With Help Tulpi learn on, Tulpi shares numbers computed from the photo, the confirmed name and your country, never the photo. Turn it off in Settings.

Questions
Good to know
Does Tulpi work offline?
Naming works on your iPhone without a connection. The closer look, the sick-plant help and the companion need one.
Which plants does it know?
3,025 plants of Germany and the UK, wild, in the garden and on the windowsill. When none of the three fits, tap None of these and name it yourself; Tulpi learns it.
Someone ate part of a plant. What now?
Call a poison centre now. Germany: for example Berlin 030 19240 or Bonn 0228 19240; 112 when someone is unconscious, not breathing or has a seizure. United Kingdom: NHS 111; 999 when someone collapses, is not breathing or has a seizure. The poison-centre screen in Tulpi is open to everyone, with or without a subscription.
What leaves my phone?
Naming stays on the phone. With your consent, a smaller copy of the photo goes to the closer look. With Help Tulpi learn, numbers computed from the photo, the confirmed name and your country are shared, never the photo; you can turn it off in Settings.
Do I need an account?
No. Your plants sync through your own iCloud.
How do I cancel?
Settings on your iPhone, your name, Subscriptions, Tulpi. Cancel at least 24 hours before the free days end and nothing is charged.
